Tea CoPacking and CoProcessing Services
NO MINIUMUMS Tea Co-Packing Current Pricing:
-Bagging (sachets): $6/sku setup/cleaning + $0.09/regular size tea bag. Ready product provided by customer with desired weights per tea bag specified. Our natural filter bags are biodegradable, unbleached, FDA approved, no strings, tags or outer wrap.
-Milling/Grinding: $12/sku setup/cleaning + $2.50/lb (rounded up). Dried and ready product provided by customer. We can mill any dried herbal product from roots to leaves in a variety of sizes from loose to tea bag cut.
-Sifting: $18/sku setup/cleaning +$2.50/lb (rounded up). Stems may be re-ground and re-sifted (rerun grinding & sifting rates apply).
-Blending: $12/sku mixer setup/cleaning, +$2.00/lb (simple, up to 4 ingredients), +$2.50 (complex, 5 or more ingredients). Ready ingredients and recipes by weight (metric preferred) provided by customer. Save on shipping by having your ingredients sent directly to us!
-Pouching (loose tea up to 500g/pouch): $12/sku setup/cleaning, +$1.50/pouch (1-49 units/sku), +$1.25/pouch (50-99 units/sku), +$0.95/pouch (100+ units/sku), heat sealing included. Pouches must be standup/gusseted bottom and resealable (variants may be discussed).
-Counting (putting multiple sachets into boxes or pouches and sealing the boxes or pouches): No setup, $1.00/box or pouch (up to 20 sachets/box or pouch)
-Secondary Packaging (putting a pouch into a secondary container): No setup, $0.20/package.
-Labeling. $0.10/ea to apply lot stickers (we supply). All other stickers/labels are $0.15/ea to apply (customer supplies).
-Overflow Shelving/Storage: $1.50/shelf/day except for regular (quarterly run) customers.
-Product Development: Product/service specific. We help you streamline your recipes and processes so you can scale to the next level. Typical R&D rates are $80/hour. Call us to discuss production needs.
-Expedited Turnaround: We're known for having some of the fastest turnaround times in the business. That said, if you need your project expedited, there's a 25% upcharge for expedited services or reserved weeks. See our co-packing agreement (link below) for details.
-Consulting: Need some more in depth, formalized, one-on-one expert help with your tea or herbal business? We can coach you through growing, processing, branding, and everything in between. $125/hr (Zoom, phone) or long distance onsite $450/day plus travel, lodging & meals.

About Our Sachets (Tea Bags)
Eco-Friendly! NO MINIMUMS (Really. None. Really.)
FACT: 80% of all tea drinkers want it in bags. Our natural filter sachets are biodegradeable, no plastics, made of unbleached plant fiber (color is best described as very light khaki). These are available in 65mm (2-1/2 inch) width. Length can be varied up to 6-inches depending on your material and desired weight.
Please note: Some materials may need to be milled prior to sacheting for optimal flow. Milling can change the flavor profile of your tea and we do offer R&D services to dial in your amount per sachet (our bagging machines fill by weight, not volume, so we can adjust your dosing by 0.1g increments). When calculating size, please be aware that most tea bags should only be filled from 1/2-2/3 capacity to allow for expansion in water.
Our sachets are 'naked' (similar to Celestial Seasonings and Republic of Tea). We do NOT offer pyramid bags, strings, tags, or outer wrap at this time. However, we can package multiple sachets into your supplied pouches, boxes, or cartons (see Counting & Secondary Packaging).
